About Family Star

Our Story

Family Star was born from a spark of inspiration, a surprise gift, and a dream that refused to die.

When Queenie first had the idea for an online store, she had almost no experience, a toddler by her side, and a mother she was devoted to caring for through a battle with dementia. That first attempt didn't make it — but Queenie did.

Life kept moving. Queenie grew into a full-time mom to a beautiful, neurodiverse family, pouring herself into caregiving with the same love and determination she puts into everything. In the fall of 2025, her mother's journey came to a peaceful end — and with it, a new chapter began.

In 2026, fueled by faith, family, and a fire she couldn't ignore, Queenie launched Family Star — a place where every family member can find something made just for them. Because she knows firsthand that families come in all shapes, needs, and seasons of life. And every single one of them deserves to shine.
